“This is not the type of place you would expect to find in the middle of Columbia, MO. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the prices are extremely low considering the quality of the ingredients used in the menu items. Upon my first visit, the initial thing that struck me was the size and design of the restaurant. It has a very modern appeal and reminds me of the type of place you would find in a big city like Chicago or New York. The menu combines the elements of simple high quality ingredients, using them to create complex flavor combinations true to the traditional dishes of Italy.”

“The vibe & the atmosphere was nothing I have ever seen anywhere. It’s very hipster-ish but fine. It’s very classy but trendy. I just can’t quite describe it. Don’t get me wrong: I would not be sitting here writing this review if this wasn’t the best slice of pizza I’ve ever had. (I posted a picture of double pepperoni pizza with mushroom that I ordered but please do not be misled: I asked them to slightly overcook my pizza. You can taste the wood in the burnt crust and I ask it to be overcooked whenever I see woodfire ovens.)

“But here’s the kicker, it’s not the pizza that I’m really raving about. I like to think that I’m a foodie and I’ve tried slices all over the US and I’ve never had a slice like this. But like I said, words just can’t justify my experience here. It’s one of those ‘you really have to be there to know exactly what I’m talking about’ kinda things.”
